The fabricator uploads the job

The 3D model comes straight from the frame and truss software, and ModEd makes a QR code for it.

The code goes on the layout

It's printed beside the job number on the layout, so it travels to site with the plans.

Scan it on site

Point a phone camera at it. If the job has been re-issued, you're told a newer revision exists.
